YANHUI'S HOLIDAY :D

I wasn't that fortunate to be able to travel to other countries like most of my friends, however my holiday was spent rather well. 

During my holidays, i met up with my primary school friends and current friends. I was really excited right before i met up with my primary school friends. I couldnt imagine how tall all of them have grown, or how one had successfully lost weight. We met at Causeway Point to catch a movie together. When i first saw them, there was mixed feeling in my heart. Happiness, confused, shocked... When i see their faces again, there just seemed to be a familiar yet strange feeling. We watched a movie together and gathered somewhere after the movie to talk about how out new school had been. It was a really heartwarming scene then, i guess it was because its been more than a year that we have gathered together and share our different experiences. I really miss that day alot. I feel a sense of belonging, even if im not in my pri school. I hope to see them more often in the future. Hopefully everyone would take around an hour or two to meet up.  Ever since i became a part of RV, i feel the importance of bonding and i treasure my friends a lot. I still remember when everyone said to keep in touch but we didnt realise how busy everyone of us were, so busy that even a class gathering would be impossible.

Other than having class meet ups, i also went out with a few of my closest friends from primary school. Ever since we all attended different secondary schools, we rarely meet each other. Not even if she lived 2 storeys above me. However, we still kept in touch by communicating through social media and video calling almost everyday,sharing our experienced in school, tuition,religion class, and also our crushes.We often discussed about when we are going to go out together, but it didn't work well, there would always be one of us who were unable to go out on the days... After a month of delay, we finally found a date where we could all make it. We were all elated and looking forward to it. Finally the day came, and We had lunch together at Macs, and we watched "Hobbit2". Other than those, we also take many pictures together for memory sake^^ Although we didn't spend much time together, we had great fun. :)

We didnt have a gathering for 1D'13, probably because the lack of time and there was only one person organising. It wasn't successful because only a few people could go. I was disappointed because it would be really great if our class could go on a outing together. Hopefully during the holidays this year, we could organize a proper gathering and hopefully many will turn up:) I really hope that our class could be more bonded as one.

Other than spending time with my friends, there was also family time. Since my dad is working most of the time, and my brother has school to attend, our time together as a family became more precious. On 1st December, it was my father's birthday, so we decided to give him a surprise when he got home. We bought a birthday cake and celebrated his birthday together when he got home from work. My father said that it was unexpected and was really happy. I experienced the "when u make someone happy, you get happy yourself" once again. I was proud of myself and glad that my dad enjoyed it.

Another time where we had family time together was on christmas eve,when my dad had a day off from work. Since my whole family was christian, we had our christmas eve celebrated at the church. It was meaningful and fun as there were games and presents at the church, along with singing. And it had been quite a long time since we all laughed and have fun together, since everyone had their own stuff to do. And even on the days when we had an hour to spare, my brother and i would be using our own PED,my mum would be busy doing household chores and my dad would be busy receiving calls from his friends/siblings. Therefore i really treasure our time together as a family.

During the holidays, my parents still have to work. So my brother and i had to eat lunch together. I really enjoy spending time with my brother probably because he always takes me to expensive restaurant and interesting places that i have never been before. I would say that most times spent with my brother was fun and interesting. Im really proud to have a brother like him.

One interesting thing I did with my brother was eating snails in a french restaurant in Jurong Point. We didn't plan to eat that, or even step into the restaurant. It only happened because i was talking to my friend on the phone and weren't paying attention to when my brother was talking to me. And i didn't realize my brother was hinting me that he doesnt want to go in.The snails costed me a fortune! And i had to pay the full amount because he didn't bring enough money out. Since snails weren't filling, we had to eat somewhere else. Although we always end up spending alot, we have wonderful times together. Now that school has started, we seldom have time together anymore.

I paid $10.50 for a plate of 6 snails.

Holidays were always that awesome, except for the last few days where i had to rush through my homework. Though it was tiring, but im still glad that i could see my friends in school again.

During the holidays, i had fun. Also, i have more time spent with my family and friends. Other than the lack of time management(cuz i was watching Drama), My holiday was spent well☺

In summary, I learnt about time management and bondedness during my holiday.I also experienced the importance of kinship and friendship. Overall, I had great fun being with my brother as well as with my Family together. I hope that 2014 would be a significant and meaningful year as i embark on my journey in 2D'14.
