Yi Hui's Holiday Reflection:)

This holiday had been a wonderful one for me.
I returned to my hometown and tried the local dishes I had missed over the years which I would never find in Singapore. Not only that, I also visited my grand-uncle who owns a farm. After staying there for a few days, I learnt that farming is actually not easy. But when you see fruits hanging on the plants you planted, you will be overjoyed definitely, after all your hard work had paid off.

I have really enjoyed the trip, especially the places of interest which fascinated me. The caves were natural but the patterns on it makes us doubt so. It is really amazing to know and been to such a place.

The scenery just right outside the cave is magnificent. Moreover, it is NATURAL. Don't you find this kind of places so refreshing? The air is so clean as the place is surrounded by trees. The high ground also makes it windy. I had wished that I can stay in those kind of places, forever. Firstly, it is close to the nature and makes me feel at home. I treat every single tree as my friends. It is also very peaceful in there, away from the busy life. I would prefer to live this life simply and not have too much dreams too far to realize.

Nothing beats having training during the holidays! As the trainings are mostly in the morning, we had to come very early to prepare and warm up. Competitions are coming and all of us had to train hard. It was a serious but fun training. During the break time, we would be sitting on the swing outside the library, enjoying the morning breeze, so cooling and relaxing as we talk about interesting topics. Because of this, I look forward to every training. It will brighten up my day:) One team, one RV!

Lastly, the thing I dread doing most in the holidays are homework. Since it is a very long holiday, I did every homework bit by bit everyday. I managed to finish all of them before school starts.
This holiday is indeed a unique one. My first December holiday in RV had been very meaningful. I tried and saw many new things to add on to my learning list.
